Analytics for Funds selection
We subscribe to a market leading independent research package called Analytics. It is widely recognised by many investment specialists as the best tool available.
Analytics provides comprehensive data on all the funds that are available in the pensions and investment market that allows us to select the most appropriate funds when we are building your portfolio.
We use filters to eliminate funds that do not match our criteria. These filters include 3 years past performance against the benchmark, financial strength and size of fund.
This leaves us with the best performing funds in each asset class and geographic sector. We then use these funds to construct your portfolio.
True Potential for Client Management and much more
True Potential is an IFA software support company that provides us with a web-based platform that handles all our administration processes in a fully secure environment including encrypted messages to and from our clients that ensures total confidentiality.
Our client proposition is enhanced because these systems are simple and effective which creates an infrastructure that increases our productivity and reduces our overheads.
We spend less time filling in paperwork and more time advising our clients and focussing on their needs.
True Potential provides our clients with the capability to obtain real time valuations of their funds via our website or through an application for their mobile devices including iPhone, iPad, Blackberry and Google Android.
Defaqto for Product Selection
Once we have built the portfolio we select the most suitable product that will satisfy the clients’ needs.
To do this we subscribe to an independent research company called Defaqto. Defaqto create and develop innovative solutions designed to assist Advisers to filter the many products that are available and select the most effective product for each client based on that clients needs.
Selectapension for Pension Transfer Analysis
If we are advising a client to switch pension provider because of, for example, high charges or poor performance we use an independent software package called Selectapension.
This package allows us to compare charges between the existing provider and our recommended provider to determine whether a transfer will benefit the client.
The pension switching process is also supported by using Analytics to measure the past performance of the clients existing pension fund versus the portfolio that we would build for the client.
Personal Web Page
All clients are provided with their secure web page that is accessed via the Simple Solutions website. This allows clients to obtain valuations of their funds in real time and to send and receive messages that are encrypted to ensure total confidentiality.
